Finding and navigating to pages on a website can be difficult sometimes, as every website is constructed differently. The following, however, will teach you how to navigate around this particular website easily and efficiently.
First, we will look at the layout. The main navigation bar is at the top of the screen. It includes the main sections of the website; home, articles, videos, events and interactive. Home is all about in:press; articles is the biggest section with a huge volume of interesting pages; videos holds all of the inclusive multimedia; events lets you keep up to date with all that is happening in the inclusion community; and interactive is exactly that - interactive, anything with user participation can be found here. Under each of these headers, there is a drop down menu which lists all of the pages in each section. By clicking on the relevant text, you can navigate to that page.
Next is the navigation on the right hand side. The links here are labled, 'Related Topics' (but since it is essential for websites, its OK to label pictures), and that's just what these links are for. They will list relevant links that you can check out, dependant on what page you are currently on. For example, if you were on an article written by a particular person, their website or email address may appear there.
The majority of the website won't require much user activity other than reading, so we've put in a special section called 'Interactive'. Everything that you need to be active in will appear here. Some examples are 'Patch Chat', 'Search' and 'Ask Darrell'.
The best way to find a particular page is through our search page or site map
